Over forty years in the technical end of piano work piano. I apprenticed with Ted Tenegus in Claremont Ca. for a year then went to work at Ralph Pierce Music. He specialized in the sale and service of Yamaha pianos. For two years I worked there alongside several very experienced techs who showed me the proper way to treat a piano. I use that knowledge everyday in the field. After that I went out on my own exclusively except for a few years working part time for stores. Even then I found plenty of outside work. I have lived in Laguna Beach Ca for decades.
